I just saw a meme that said what would shock a person the most if they woke up from 1985 and they woke in 2025

The price of a packet of smokes and a slab of beer now here in Australia 

Hmm
So after buying them, Its a wonder we can still afford to buy food eat as well ,

Bugger not porridge again ,

I’ll wash it down with a beer and a fag , have a big burp and its all still good ,

Australia is the lucky country and it seems now it is actually now just that , for new immigrants.

We are all Australians and now some of us are being put out of our homes now in large numbers weekly ,
to live on the streets and out here we are all living out cold here on the streets ,
The estimated number made homeless weekly is over ten thousand people and
we are all just surviving , and going through the motions ,
Of course, smoking the chop and drinking home brew at our campsite oops home

Our spirit is still alive .
But our hearts are heavy.
This is no home or life for our kids in the supposed greatest country in the world , but unfortunately now theres lots of children living here with us .

You should try and imagine a shower with a hundred people lined up for that one available shower cubicle and poor you if you are busting for a number two ,
Just hold on boy ,
Wait your turn .

At the current rate of over half a million new immigrants scheduled to land here in Australia for a new life Soon our middle class will also start to join us living at the local rec here ,
well thats Fat Tony’s plan ,
It’s obvious
To house the immigrants as fast as we can ,
and who said it was lonley at the bottom ?in fact its standing room only here out living in tent city .

Its a bit depressing as there is no real truthful government plan to ever house us again .

But of course,
Thats the price one pays now for opening our boarders too wide
and flooding too many immigrants into our country at once ,
Thats what you do when you are bankrupt.
To bring new money in to the economy.

Lucky for them its now Spring and its like now the heater has slowly been turned on for them and they are all slowly thawing out .
Good no need for three jumpers anymore .

Hmm soon it will be forty degrees and sweltering ,
No air conditioning in the footy grounds so My kid asks me the tough question Dad can we please shift to the next suburb as they have a fountain in their park and we can use that both as a shower and in the heat of summer it will be a nice spot to cool ,

Last time that I shifted house it took a week .
Sadly this time its an hour .
