Hello everyone,
Well I just got out of my second surgery and had a shower because unbelievably Blackie is on his way to pick me up ,
so when he arrives I’ll be officially discharged and free to go home.

But as usual there is something unusual that the laboratory found from a swab taken from my hand .
Strangely it must be pretty uncommon as the nurse that explained the situation to me had never heard of the name of whatever it is before , but she said that probably tomorrow the health department will call me as they are interested in finding out the location that I picked it up from.
But it’s not dangerous and I was still free to go home.

I just smiled and thought here we go again , but it will get sorted out .

Well my stay here at Dandenong hospital has been  absolutely fantastic with all the staff and nurses so nice and genuinely caring and so professional and proficient at their job.
They look after everyone so well and happily.

The food.
The food is actually really quite good and I even managed to eat all of mine , so I might have gained a little wait .

But I want to also extend my sincere gratitude to the entire team in the operating theatre  for their care and  for putting up with my jokes .

And last but definitely not least to my plastic surgeon for his excellent work and at the very least with his skills , saving my index finger and possibly my hand .

So it goes to show that I need to wear gloves in the garden from now on.
One small prick from a rose thorn and I had to have two operations .

When it came to humour , every time anyone asked me the question are you allergic to anything?
And that was often ,
I would say no and then change my mind.
They would ask what?
And I’d answer
Bad Women  , they all thought it was quite funny.

So my man Blacks has arrived and I’m now discharged and on my way home .
In a week I’m back so my surgeon can have a look at  his handiwork lol

So its plastic bags for showers for the week and taking things easy.
Ps
I think that the staff were s bit surprised as every time they a asked me my pain level and  if required pain relief and I’d reply no they would look at me in disbelief and in the end they stopped. asking me altogether.
So I have had two surgeries on my hand and not even s Panadol down the hatch.
