Hello , once again children,
Welcome back to the international school and club ,
for the world’s environment .
Children , you already all know the importance of looking after our world’s environment but adults ,
dont.
Its the children’s environment and world and they need to do everything that they possibly can to save and look after their atmosphere from more heavy industrial pollution.
The more pollution that is in the atmosphere the less we can all breathe ,
so it is a really important subject.
Welcome to all of our international students and the children now joining us abroad on line for the very first time its so exciting to have you all here with us today.
I was planning teaching you all a lesson on renewable energy ,
but I think a less known subject will be a better lesson for us all today.
Its about plastic waste , the atmosphere and new job creation with the start of a new cottage industry .
I wrote a paper on this subject a few years back and I’ll outline the main gist of the subject to all of you guys now.
Its all about saving all of our trees , that breathe and purify our world’s oxygen with the incredible natural process of photosynthesis.
This is where the leaves on the tree breathe in dirty stale air and breathe out pure fresh air/oxygen.
Its gods and nature’s air filter working at its best .
When we cut down trees everywhere in the world for timber or for new grazing farmland or in Australia for solar farms and wind turbines.
We then make our air that we breathe just a little bit dirtier and it is now its a little bit harder to breathe ,
So obviously boys and girls we all want to stop cutting down trees as much as possible to help give you and your future children lots of fresh clean air from which you grow.
But how do we actually stop the adults from cutting down our trees ?
Well here is the lesson .
The answer children to the question of saving trees is of course strangely, plastic.
Plastic?
Yes in Australia unfortunately we Australian’s actually send well over a million tonnes of just plastic waste alone in to our landfills every year
So that is 84% of our plastic products in waste that are buried in the ground and only 13% is actually recycled.
Hmm
So of course We now need as a team to somehow increase the recycling figure and reduce the current landfill waste.
Well boys and girls it’s sort of easy as we now recycle all the waste plastic we can and mould them into fake timber products.
Thats right
Everything in the future that is timber now will be one day be proudly made of waste plastic.
They have already made a good start here in Australia with a range of new plastic decking thats available now .
They just need to add a few more polymers to the mix and we will also have a complete range of structural plastic timber available to use as well.
This new plastic timber has a fire retardant built into it so now your house cant actually burn down meaning much cheeper fire insurance for your home and for mum and dad .
Imagine kids ,
We can have real Leggo brick houses .
Brilliant
I think that the new factory’s for production should all be built in the old forestry log milling towns ,
that have now lost their timber industries and that will help to breathe some life and spirit back into those communities ,
And it will create real jobs and of course a brand new export industry for our country.
And the best part of this plan is that all of our worlds trees are left standing ,
hard at work filtering the dirty air like they all have done for millions and millions of years.
And as a massive extra bonus our wildlife can thrive in the Aussie bush undisturbed .
The way its ment to be .
So my young environmental students ,
i hope that tonight that you put on your environment crusader badge , if it has arrived and at dinner talk to your mum and dad about your environment and your concerns and ask them to try and buy products from now on and in the future thats made just out of plastic instead of trees

As its actually your world my young students

We are just the caretakers that actually need to take more care .
See you next week.
Cheers xxx
