I had the chance to visit New York just over a year ago and whilst there I visited many tourist sites ,
but the site that moved me so much emotionally , was the twin tower memorial site .
It was so surreal and the displays in the museum part sent shivers down my spine as l wanderer through trying to come to terms with just the enormity of the tragedy ,
it was a lot to take in and it leaves everyone that visits there a sense of total disbelief.
In the museum a lot of people are actually reduced to tears ,
Tears for the victims, tears for their families .
The two water tributes on the actual building sites are a fitting reminder of the tragedy and with every victims name embossed on the rail and it’s such a fitting place to remember all of the innocent lives that were lost that day .
If you ever get the chance to visit New York the 911 site is a must visit
