I don’t actually think that Peter Dutton has done anything to actually peg back the margin in the polls against labour, but it’s more being caused by unpopular decisions that are being made by
Anthony Albanese and the Labour Party , the Voice referendum has certainly cost him a lot of votes , and with their current policies causing the cost of living blowout they are exasperating their problems,
But they have years left of governance so we have no choice but to suck it up and roll with the punches,
But in all honesty Australian politics and political parties need to have a complete rethink about what both major parties have been responsible for and have led our country to in this global economy and our economic mess.
Australia has under all political leadership gone from a great strong country to a country that has no manufacturing sector left , and hardly any businesses left that are Australian,
so much of the profits from those overseas companies are paid offshore ,leaving a hole in our economy and a ever growing national deficit,
They also all obviously actually use methods to minimise their taxation ,leaving Australian tax payers to foot the bill for the difference , it’s a viscous circle , that we must break out of if we are to retain any control over our country in the future.
So maybe it’s time for a rethink and more of a different type approach to running this country,like changing our taxation system to a debits tax , that would be so beneficial to Australia as it would relieve the tax bill paid by the majority of Australian workers and it will automatically tax those overseas companies with no way to escape paying tax .
A global economy doesn’t mean that we let the world simply take us over
It means we need to make smarter import export deals that actually work in our favour, and we have leaders that stick their noses out for us , but currently they are in the feed trough ,
I think the Australian people should come first
