Political The voice

He ,
Anthony Albanese should  definitely legislate the voice  ,
if the yes vote looses the referendum vote , Pauline

Because it’s just a toothless advisory committee ,that will  just report its recommendations to parliament ,

Parliament don’t have to take any consideration or the issues that they raise if they choose to,

The voice committee would hold no power or votes , yet maybe it will actually come up with  some feasible recommendations for consideration.

I believe after all the referendum bs we have put up with for months now and Anthony Albaneses stance during it , and a lack of detail to the community, he has as our
Prime Minister an obligation to the Aboriginal community and all Australians to support his  own stance , back himself up and legislate the Voice advisory committee through the senate after the completion of the referendum vote.

What sort off a leader does it show him to be , to just wipe his hands of the whole Voice  concept after everything  that has happened in the past few months.

It’s would be a token gesture but an important one to keep the ball rolling on Aboriginal affairs and heading for eventual treaty agreement between us .

Unfortunately I think that the time is not right , for Australians to commit to changing our constitution.

But it certainly is time for a Voice panel , and I feel deep down most Australians wanted to see these issues dealt with , but I and I also think that a lot of Australians would like to see if the Voice actually works , without  any change to the Australian Constitution .

Maybe it should have been a two part question ,
If it was the question of change our legislation it certainly would have failed .
The question for a voice advisory committee would have been a give me and easily won.

Hopefully common sense will prevail if Anthony Albanese and the Australian Labour Party  have a rethink as it’s not all up to Anthony , as it’s actually the party is what votes on the matter .

All Australians and the handling of Aboriginal affairs should not be a political football
Nor for playing politics with .
The issue needs dealing with

Maybe common sense will prevail and the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Straight islanders will get a Voice
Is parliament listening

Cheers
