Hello my name is Michael but most people call me Curly , I am writing in application for a position of deckhand on your vessel the Rainbow Warrior.
I have no formal marine qualifications as such but I am experienced with irb as both a pilot and a crew . I do hold a current High Risk work license as a dogger  and rigger .
I have an ongoing deep love of the ocean and I started my first job on a commercial fishing vessel at the age of 15 as a professional fisherman, I fell in love with every aspect of the job and I was rewarded for my efforts with ongoing employment.
I also over the years have spent many hours on the water as both professional fishing  and also  in my recreational fishing boat . I hold the environment on both land and sea as high importance, it’s monitoring and protection are paramount, I understand that sometimes your vessel that it can be in dangerous situations
I understand the extreme importance of the tasks that are undertaken by your team aboard Rainbow Warrior , and I understand the seriousness of all crew positions on her.
I love the excitement of leaving port on a real live adventure, and I would love to leave along with your crew on a journey to help save our planet
