Brother to brother

Hi Delsey  I can tell you my definition of our race divide with it being no reflection on you mate
Where I live and the surrounding districts there are very few Aboriginal people living here , I do casually know those few though and get on well with them

About 8 years ago I went to visit my sister in Darwin which has a much more denser population of Aboriginal people living there .
I was walking through the mall in the Main Street around lunch time and where it got to the public square  part there was groups of Aboriginals gathered there ranging from adults to children and some were drinking.
I witnessed some of the group spitting on passers by exclaiming loudly White Trash.
I was shocked and thought a few thoughts
This to me clearly showed the race division between us
I also thought that the tables were turned for a minute
And I felt empathetic to their plight as I could sort of understand it in their frustration.
I didn’t avoid them but they didn’t spit at me and let me pass in peace .

One day in the future I would like to see friendship and a brotherhood replace this scene

I also guess we  need go about closing it by perusing the concept of a voice panel to parliament and demand an audit into Aboriginal funding and try and make the current situation better.

The Australian people were not really given the opportunity to support an advisory body as the government made certain of that by not having a two question referendum  for them to tick yes to the voice ,
so it was a bit of an act of basterdry on their part ,
as I’m sure an overwhelming majority of Australians would have voted yes to the Voice and  no in the constitutional change box .

I think that the government should have some balls and if not the Voice instigate  maybe something like the spirit body basically under the same umbrella and explain to the public it’s for the importance of reconciliation that this panel be initiated and accepted,
That should save them face .

The Uluṟu statement got rejected by the way the government presented the whole package that resulted in a no vote.

Anthony Albanese did your mob no favours and in fact was detrimental to your cause

The LNP also did you no favours and by not granting bi partisan support were also detrimental to your cause .

Most politicians are just in the job for themselves , only interested in in helping when there’s something in it for them personally or it inflates their egos .

It’s funny how life goes as they say that when one door closed another one opens , the next step may present just around the corner and I think that just like you ,
I’ll be there , just as my spirit is

Cheers
