Lyndall Maree technically ,
Lyndall I think Australians should have a lot more say in important decisions that effect our lives and nation
As we all seem to have smart phones and the government could put forward any question  that effects our country to us , the people and have like a response period like maybe 24 hours

Voting would not be compulsory like people elections , but I bet that the response  by Australians would be overwhelming  and they would be pro active, and the voice of the people would be heard by the government and legally binding if over  50%  of eligible Australian voters were on the question either affirmative or negative ,
We would be the first country to adopt this type of system and then we couldn’t  possibly be more democratic

And come to think of it instead of the cost of the  Voice referendum being over 400 million dollars it probably would maybe cost only a million as it’s just a computer program
Not a bad saving
Cheers
