because that way the Australian Labour Party can use the same trick again on the unweary Australian public at the next election time .

Dont worry about the Australian  people Jimmy Boy ,
They all will surly have forgotten about our little $275 vote grabbing pledge tactic by then .

We could maybe think about giving them all another subsidy to appease everyone instead ,

i still cant quite  work out how we were ever going to force any private electricity companies operating within Australia to lower their retail charges to the Australian  people .

Its all just a bit rediculous

It was never going to to happen.

Hmm

Maybe JimmyBoy can fudge some more figures on his trusty abacus 
And we just spend heaps more of our taxpayer and borrowed funds ,
on new electrical infrastructure for those foreign companies operating our electricity system,
and it might even give us some more leverage.

Worse still to come i hear that power is going up everywhere in price again .

Wasn’t Privatisation supposed to stop this exact thing from occurring as I ,
and the Labour Party told the Australian people that  when we sell off the ownership of our whole electricity industry it was ment to make the industry more competitive ,
And lower prices rather than us having a government run show.

Well thats another government lie .

I hope they don’t all notice though ,
The power bills are set out to be a bit confusing ,
and lots of people are luckily for us mate a bit confused .

Not one person is happy with the system except for our government that implemented this system.
And the foreign companies that own us .
And of course our power guru ,
Dick Bowen

Privatisation is used by governments to raise lots of money when they are dead broke and it has been a roaring success for  doing just that  but even after selling so much off we still have a massive government approved national debt and now we the Australian people publicly almost own nothing.

Brilliant

They also in government want to sell off  all of our water boards next.

The  massive public reaction against the government when they tried to sell off  the Sydney water supply ,
actually ended up with a historic law change .

Sydney water can by law never be sold .
I asked the Bass Coast Shire to look at doing the same and protect our water board but they declined.

The government seems to have no idea .

Privatisation is so good that lately in Victoria ,
Which is economically the brokest state ,
the Allen government has somehow found some cash and they just commissioned a new  government electrical entity ,
they have recently opened up what they called the SEC .
This is absolutely not the old SEC of Victoria or anything at all like it .

One of its primary tasks of the SEC is believe it or not to help Victorians  to compare their power bills and find the most competitive rate for your electricity account .

What s friggen joke .

The power rates could  actually be just be listed and advertised on a suitable  public webpage  or website
Job done .
But thats government
They Instead choose to spend millions of  our dollars for giving  a bit of advice .

So the so called great deals that Jeff Kennett and the liberals all spruiked about publicly when they were responsible for selling off the first Victorian power stations and major electrical infrastructure and then came eventually privatising the complete industry ,
never ever eventuated .

It was a furfey.
Im not sure if that was in the government modelling at the time.

After a  contracted two year grâce period  that was capping the retail price of power  in Victoria and also the supply to property charge .
Once the two year period was complete.
Power prices rose that next week I believe and they have rising regularly and steadily and sometimes extremely sharply all the way since then ,
until today .

Apparently Dick Bowen has now had a cracker of an idea to have free power flying around in the grid for three hours a day soon.

Honestly nothing in life is free Dick
What if the retailers you are trying to sweet talk now all give you the finger as they cant possibly run the system because you say so ,
for nothing.

If i were a shareholder of those companies i would not want to give 21 hours of power delivery away as I want to maximise my profits.

What happens then to your announced sharing plan  then Dick?

I understand why Jeff Kennett sold our power off at the time ,
but to me ,
I knew back then that it was a poor government decision  they made to sell off any if our energy sector that they the Liberals made at the time and now we see the unpopular results of those decisions all around the country and everywhere in Australia now has extremely high retail electricity charges.
And  lots of extremely angry people.

So If they privatise everything,
