Hello everyone,
i just went up to the Lodge to visit dad today,

Where I found him in his room and the thing is that you have to walk though tv room area on the way and usually there are a few people there that are realy so far away with the faries  they look peaceful and im so grateful that dad is not like that , and he wouldn’t want that anyway ,
When I arrived at dads room he was sitting in his chair near the window just pondering life.

He was pleased to see me and we just yelled first to find out if he had his hearing aids in , we started talking and he asked me about what i had been writing about so I told him of my star wars electricity idea ,
My anti government sentiment and Fat Tony.
He found the light transfer to be feasible which is good.

So i asked him all the usual questions and I reslised that he is making lots of new friends in there and communicating with people really for the first time in his life .

He knows Freds blood pressure and of his last operation,
He knows Jessies vein trouble.
He was rattling off this stuff to me flat out and i had this funny thought that my dad inadvertently has turned into Ita Jessup from neighbours as the gossip of the neighbourhood, lol
Well i thought it was funny as .
I asked him to think about a story about him from his past that we can talk about next visit and then ill pen it up, for everyone to read .
So he agreed to that.

One weird thing was that for some reason he asked me when I arrived what was the time ?
He asked me again when I left and I thought
Hmm
its timed visits, lol
I hope he doesn’t decide to  charge too much an hour .

When i left and walked back through the tv area i recognised a man lying there and it was my Max
We had a brief conversation and it pains me to see that he was struggling today .

The exits on the building are all coded  small button locks so you have to obviously enter the code on s touch pad .
It’s a security measure to stop residents like dad just going to church .

My fingers are a bit big so sometimes I struggle with touchpads.
Its a simple code
I have not once ever been able to open the exit door every time that I tried it and today was no exception,
I must have had ten goes at the code until a nice staff member came to my rescue,
I told her my problem she laughed and showed me how to do it and guess what ?
It stayed locked.
I said that they must want to keep me
She tried again ,
No good so then she swiped her fob and phew I was once again free.

And i was all the wiser ,
as now I know Freds blood pressure.
