Its the
First time in years that I have worn a cap out fishing
or for anything in fact , I wear a straw hat instead out on
Tiger Ben
But
Old Curls wears one quite often.
He was standing under the bow of a fifty foot steel commercial vessel that I was actually given a while ago for free .
I thought it was too good to be true.
It had a big hiab crane on deck and i had a few dreams about using her as a big offshore charter boat that was capable of running fishing trips out in deep water way out on the continental shelf ,
and maybe just also run a bit of freight like building materials to King Island also.
Her name was the Navigator, and I made the really unusual move of a name change for her to
The Green Beret
Because I cant navigate ,
I decided in my mind that
I liked the new name much better.
And yes,
the hat was hard to put on .
I tried about five caps out at home first on Friday night till i found one that sort of fits.
It was a dream of mine that didnt actually work out,
and not all of them do .
But it was a nice dream.
That’s actually the challange of life ,
To open ourselves and our venerability up and to follow our path and our dreams and to learn the lessons in life that are sometimes really tough .
And deal with failure
This builds character ,
and on the other hand when our dreams do come true,
we can celebrate
the joys of life and smile.
As our soul and our spirit is lifted up with our happiness.
And we and our spirit are just enjoying ourselves and getting ready
for the next life.
Cheers xxx
