Future cars

So personally

I’m  basically a hydrogen fan but I do realise that there will always be a mixture of vehicle types  around the world as circumstances differ , so this is  a short story about electric cars ,

so once a  fair while back I wrote an article on solar panels on actually adding them to cars roofs boot and bonnets , to utilise light and passively maximise the charging input to the  vehicle battery. Today I had my first ride ever in an electric car with my son and daughter, as we were driving my son mentioned to me about it being  an electric  car we were in and cant I tell by how quiet it was? Well to be honest I’m half deaf so I couldn’t tell. The driver and I started chatting about how his last electric car had a solar panel roof, and how it was much better, this got my mind racing thinking someone had used my idea but I then when mentioned my idea to my son that I wanted roof boot and bonnet  car panels to all be solar ,

that would be so ugly dad he proclaimed.

So I thought hmm and I then came up with an alternative idea ,my idea is not  really that complicated and it works like  this , it’s similar to the security system  currently available of microscopic data dots , that are sprayed onto a surface and I want to simply to spray microscopic  solar cells onto the bodywork of the vehicle during the painting process and I’m certain a verity of application methods can be utilised in its actual application like being   applied over  a base coat just like a three layer pearl , or just over the top of a solid colour , or floating in a clear coat  and the dot cells would atomise and be left in an overlayered and also in an intertwined pattern with each other , giving you one solid state of electrical continuity all over the car , so technically even your car doors also would charge your battery along with every painted surface exposed to light , and  even if you have an accident and your car is damaged it’s just a simple process to respray out the solar dots  on refinishing , and it’s as good as new ,the advantages are many and while your car is parked anywhere in the daytime or under lights in a carpark at night your car will be charging ,also while you drive in the day you are making power for free, this will save us of having to provide significant numbers of expensive charge stations required and as an added measure you could have Anderson plugs in your boot to clip in an accessory battery or two boosting your driving range significantly or getting you going enough to get home or to a charge station

So in a nutshell the applications for this system is enormous , any painted surface can become a solar panel, the complete outside of any buildings  , sheds and the complete roof of your home without the structural strength required like for solar panels as it’s virtually weightless in application it’s all up to your imagination.

I’n this day and age of energy shortages we need to be smart about exactly how we move forward and try and make the smallest footprint on mother earth as we can, this system would ultimately take a lot of demand  collectively off our power grids  also as a bonus. Somehow now we have to start putting the Earth and the environment before profits and money, because slowly but Surely we are destroying everything for cash ,but on that note I do envisage that the first vehicle manufacturer in the world to produce this type of car for sale to the public will besides do the earth a big favour hit the jackpot as far as vehicle sales go

So there’s the challenge  to both the vehicle and paint industries maybe you should all get on it,

Ps

I had a few extra thoughts to make this car  get even more mileage efficient , you add a motor to make it hybrid but no ordinary motor this would be a hydrogen cell powered generator and generate an extra circuit or two  actually boosting the battery voltage voltage for extra power when needed like for towing applications but not be hooked into the drive train like conventionaly mechanically as this is too cumbersome and expensive but it’s just hooked into your cars main battery or batteries directly , instead

no more caught out with no power anymore , and the Australian government would I think going by their announcement a week or so ago and I think off memory that the figure was around 140 million dollars that they have just allocated for fitting of lots of charge stations on highways  in Australia  and with this  idea we would no longer  be required to fit them at the same density, that would  free up lots of money and the funds could be allocated by the government elsewhere.

Maybe into funding and development of new  energy saving ideas from within our country right here in Australia and bring our country into the forefront  of smart energy saving  countries in the world

How about it Albo?

Cheers
