Its such a fantastic solution to the problem thanks to a combined efforts of
Jordan Crugnale and the Bass coast shire,
I wonder,
Just how much of the 2.3 million dollars of allocated taxpayer funding to fix the problem have now been already spent with this ongoing solution of theirs ?
They are constantly mechanically shifting sand now at Inverloch with machines to buffer and reinforce the existing temporary sand bag retaining wall ,
and there is sadly not any sign of them organising anything to actually fix the problem to the best of your abilities now or in a reasonable time frame.
Is there actually any of the allocated funding left?
And i wonder,
does the contractor have a current eco or Aboriginal permit to dig such a big hole in the sand at the low tide mark on Inverloch beach ?
And you the contractor are with your actions messing the intertidal animal life up big time ,
with the chosen contractor who is digging down deep in the sand and taking the live sand with your excavator bucket and dumping it in piles ,
Of course the contractor is just smiling and counting the dollars $$$ for every castle that he builds .
Hr is loving it.
Money for jam
And they make sandcastles without a care about the delicate eco system at waters edge that you are disturbing in our Bunnarong marine park.
Best be quick so you don’t destroy any more of the marine ecosystem than you have to .
It should have been long fixed by now .
There is probably no money left .
Cheers xxx
