Hello everyone,
Well today i helped a friend split up some rounds into next seasons firewood .
I was cruising along on the job and I was I admit daydreaming a little bit when I had a thought that my log splitter was assembled my the Samari .
Because it seems just like a Katana , every time that i use the machine it draws blood

So soon nature paid me a visit and at one stage i saw out of the corner of my eye something moving fast .
I looked up to see a flurry of feathers

and a bird swooping down into the woodpile ,
He was there for lunch and he grabbed himself a big fat juicy Jackie lizard before flying onto the fence and putting his head back and swallowing poor Jackie whole .
It was great to see him that close and confident.
He remained with me while i split the wood and he was going off on the worms that i uncovered underneath the rounds .
Well bugger ,
for the rest of the time i had that song going through my mind over and over again.
Kookaburra lives in the old gumtree .
Merry merry King of the bush is he .
You know the rest .
I must have sung it in my head at least a hundred times .
Ain’t it great to be Australian

This is the lucky country and we are so blessed with our wildlife and with so many unique animals in our country to admire the miracle of nature.
So shh about the blood

as if Ben finds out he will kill me so can we keep it between us ourselves,
just this time .
The Kookaburra was amazing
His colours were out on display and him hanging around just made my day .
Cheers xxx
