Referendum explanation

I agree with that one Jason ,
how can we be expected to vote on something that’s not even proposed and disclosed to the people ,
all we know is that there is going to be a group of Aboriginal representatives that will form a voice to the people which is the parliament ,this voice is proposed to be formed after the referendum  and it will have absolutely no power , they will only be an advisory body , and their recommendations to parliament are  simply just that , recommendations that don’t even have to be considered, what’s the point?
Well who knows what the planned changes to our constitution that the government has in mind , at the minute that’s a guess but they say it makes all Australians equal , but don’t say what the other changes are ,  and if it makes all Australians equal does that actually mean that the Aboriginals don’t have land rights and preferential things like free education anymore ,because now we are all one big tribe ? It’s hard to understand with no simple direct explanation from our prime minister , the dumb thing is there are actually 11 Aboriginal MP’s I’m federal parliament that actually do have a voice and actually do have a vote and actually do represent their people , I think like everyone they are a little divided over what to vote , the thing is we have till I think September to all fight about this mess the prime minister has given us , but while we all argue don’t forget the other things that the voice has distracted us from like interest rates and inflation and the cost of living the housing crisis to name a few hmm but we brought four terrific submarines
Lucky us
Cheers
