I still dream that one day some smart Australian invents an efficient device to seperate water 

 into 2 parts Hydrogen and one part oxygen, we then burn the Hydrogen as  an energy source, and pollute the atmosphere with  the waste oxygen,
Ultimately that’s the way I see the future of power in the world , until then it’s renewables ,
When it comes to that I also have a dream , to place small solar panels and vertical wind turbines on top of every power pole in Australia 

It would be a world first and I believe that when in full operation it would supply us with ample power ,
It would also negate the need for any more wind turbine projects or solar farms leaving our landscape in good order .
We could design and manufacture the units here creating renewable energy jobs and a future for our children
