Sandra Dennis why not Margret as concrete is permanent ,
and it needs no ongoing maintenance and that is why i tried to get the council here in Bass Coast back then to build the new road we all required in Webb drive to be completely funded by the block owners built in concrete and it was heaps cheeper at the time ,
and they would not hear of it , and they used hot mix bitumen instead that cost me an extra 15k .
And a delay of over ten years as 13 engineers in the shire couldn’t draw up the required plan so eventually an engineer at Warrnambool shire completed a drawing for them at a cost of over 140 K
They didn’t give a shit as we all paid for it out if our savings or we borrowed the funds and paid interest on it because our engineering team here couldn’t do it and I offered to draw up the plan for the road as services we’re already well in place,
I figured it would take me maybe a day as I’m a bit messy at drawing but the pay fr one day was incredible.
Just a few years later Margret it has repairs all over the surface of it .
We can use the recycled concrete stone in the mix at Donmix and smash down the cost of supplying stone .
Saving the planet a little bit more and heading closer to the new realistic target for Net Zero that we set in Australia

after a while that it will be much faster now than expected and announced by the Australian Labour Government thus appeasing the Labour based Greens

movement.
The worst part Margret is I hate washing cars as a panel beater it was part of my job and they made me wash my ute every time it was wet as the existing gravel road turned to soup and sprayed my car and everyone else’s car so badly.
So i hope that explains that to you Margret have a wonderful day
Cheers xxx
