Seed bank

I do  not agree with the changing of our seeds so that they can not reproduce when grown from a packet off the shelf,
Although luckily for us there are a few seeds that they can’t yet genetically modify such as pumpkin

I do think what gives someone the right to go and change the reproduction part of a seed for profit ?

I grew a sunflower last year and it was perfect , but on maturity I was disappointed and dismayed when I cracked open a seed from the flower to find it an empty husk except like a tiny bit of paper inside it , it was inert .

My first thought was how dare they and what are the birds going to eat besides empty sunflower seeds ,
I also thought what is our government doing to allow such development of our seed supply ,

All we can do to fight it is to share our heritage seeds and keep them going , the rest of us will have to buy one off packets of seeds that will never reproduce fruit once grown

What is becoming of our society?
How does our government allow such changes ?
And if you think that you aren’t eating genetically modified vegetables you need to think again

Cheers
