Today was an interesting day

Firstly i went to the doctors office in Murray St to make an appointment to have a doctor glance at my burnt arm for ten seconds and then bill medicare for it  ,
and then let the nurse dress it for me ,

So its money for jam

No big deal

Hmm
Yes it was

I explained the situation of my arm saga to the receptionist ,
and i politely asked her for Wednesday appointment,
With any doctor.

Thats when things got really quite weird
She said to me ,
that on this coming Wednesday ,
there was only one Doctor either bookings available
It was Doctor Peter Ward
Or better known around the traps as Pee Wee ,
to some .

She asked me how i would be paying for his services,
I told her that with my medicare card as its widely advertised now that doctors visits were now all free and all to be bulk billed .

She told me that Peter Ward was not taking on any more bulk billed clients for that days appointments and he would take on private paying patients.

I thought that i was hearing things and i asked her to repeat what she had told  me .
I then just let fly and i spat chips at her ,
and I even swore ,
and i started asking loud questions like is that even ethical of a doctor?
Doesn’t he have a medical code of ethics?

The  lady calmly told me that i could only get an appointment with another doctor there tomorrow week
That’s just  rediculious . 

I asked her
How does he actually get paid ?
when it’s all bulkbilled ?
He would have no work?

I was fuming and i told the receptionist to jam her appointment and i would contact the health minister and complain.
and go back to casualty snd just waste more of their precious time and resources.

So i walked out with more questions in my mind than i had going into the joint

It didn’t take much thought as to how the government plan on ass raping our medicare system and bankrupting it with certain doctors support

Double charging ,
must be common practice ,

Medicare will certainly be the next NDIS.

It’s all in the middle of its rollout.
So i also said to the receptionist as a passing crappy comment that what ?
With twenty something doctors that work  out of here ,
and you are telling me that not one of them has a spare ten seconds to glance at my badly burned arm ,
for a full bulk bill payment

How is that even right ?

She ,
The receptionist cant answer anything ,
as she is the receptionist doing the dirty work for the doctors that choose to run their practices like this .
