Since my crack at Greenpeace , the manager there Katherine has contacted me , regarding the real situation of our gas supply situation and our welcoming of for companies to exploiting of our Australian
owned gas supplies acidly tax and exise free apparently we pay that for them in our retail purchases if out own resource ,
This practice has to stop now before our country and its waterways are left decimated by foreigners when it’s finally bled dry and we are left with a wasteland waterway to deal with .
A bit like what has happened in Naru when they sold all or there phosphate reserves and for a while became the richest country in the free world .
Once the remorse was all gone they were left with mine holes eve and went bankrupt and they even lost their Naru house in Melbourne because if this .
We can’t be stupid enough to fall into the same trap
We need to immediately stop any new wells being drilled , stop seismic testing and take a long hard look at the gas export industry.
The federal government has a duty of care to us the citizens and they must start to charge these foreign pirates an exice amount and stop them from robbing all of us hand over fist .
They then must reduce our retail excise down to an acceptable level as we now no longer subsidise the gas export industry.
