So it’s all over.
I’m now in an Uber on the way to JFK airport and something a bit weird has already happened , so soon after we departed .
You sit in the back seat over here when riding in taxis or Ubers unless there are lots of you
Well i noticed that the driver reached over to just under the rear view mirror where there was some sort of medallion hanging there on a thin leather cord ,
He grabbed hold of it with his thumb pressed on the front and held it and held it and held it and held it whilst we drove in heavy traffic
I thought here we go again lol
He then started to rub it with his thumb for ages and so much so that I thought he would break it ,
I thought hmm about time when he eventually let it go and I thought he must be deeply superstitious or deeply religious
To my surprise when I got to see what the medallion was it was a beautiful blue coloured St Christopher
Which his image is the patron St of travel
So I breathed a sigh of relief as I have one of my own St Christopher at home that was brought for me by my god mother on the day I was born put away for safe keeping
Now it’ seems to be just back to a normal ride
Oops I spoke too soon he is at it again

Made it through check in I had to use a srr Rd li Steve booth it was a bit daunting as I took so long it nearly booted me off a few times
Now the huge like to get though security
