Caroline Smith yes they do Caroline , people do vote for governments and elected representatives that have continually privatised our assets in the past , but really those representatives that are eventually voted in ,say absolutely nothing of their party’s intent to privatise anything during an election campaign, instead they choose to stay completely silent in that regard and they are busy making seldom kept promises to all of us instead,
It should be compulsory to disclose to the public any intent to privatise any entity or part thereof ,
the way it is now, is just deceitful and disrespectful of the constituents that voted them in.
I guess with full disclosure they would be frightened of loosing the election, I think that’s possibly with good reason
The system must change governments need to be honest and accountable
