That’s incredible , that in this day and age no one has come up with an economical way to recycle tyres and unfortunately tyre dumps all over the world accidentally catch fire , Australia is no exception to this as a dump caught fire not so long ago near Five Ways Victoria and there’s basically no hope of extinguishing them once started .
I do know that each car tyre contains around a litre of diesel fuel so that’s something worth reclaiming.
You have to pay a surcharge at the tyre service to recycle your old tyres as well as at your local tip but I don’t think any of them are actually recycled
